Victor has a passion for fitness, good nutrition, and soccer playing with the children at Fundacion Casa Victoria in Quito, Ecuador. He has served as a volunteer at Casa Victoria for almost two years, loving every minute of it. His original home is Salzburg, Austria, where he graduated Master in Business. He is currently a Fitness Coach and continues to be a volunteer at Casa Victoria. |
FIRST VICE PRESIDENT–SUSAN WERDERMAN
Susan has been to Ecuador 5 times and has given love, care and support to children in rural and urban communities in country and abroad. She is a busy grandmother of three, an impeccable home decorator, and has the gift of hospitality and service. She lives in Richmond, VA with her husband, Gene. |
SECOND VICE PRESIDENT--ESTEBAN MATHEUS
Esteban has been a faithful supporter of Ecuador Mi Pais by helping out pro bono on several architectural improvements on the house of Casa Victoria, in Quito, Ecuador. A native of Ecuador who has lived in Vancouver, Canada for the past decade, he is an Architect and passionate about sustainability and energy efficient designs. He currently is helping with redesigning a small home of a very poor widow and her son, whose house was burned down. |
REGISTERED AGENT And DIRECTOR–MARIA DEL CARMEN MATEUS
Maria del Carmen, born and raised in Ecuador, obtained her bachelor’s degree majoring in Middle School Education with a thesis focused on Diagnostics of the Intellectual Capacity of Elementary School Students in Quito, Ecuador. In 2000, she moved to the U.S. with her husband and two children where they made Fairfax their home. Shortly after, Maria began her career with Fairfax County Public Schools. Maria has always found passion working with the immigrant community and has made it her mission to lead and engage families to successfully navigate the educational system. She is a mother of two and grandmother of two lively grandkids. Maria has helped Ecuador Mi Pais for five years in a volunteer administrative capacity. |
BRAD BREWER
Since 2007, Brad has brought many teams from Christopher Newport University to volunteer in Ecuador. These groups have consistently worked on building projects, activities with children in poor areas of the country, formed lasting friendships, as well as supported projects financially at Casa Victoria. Casa Victoria Foundation has partnered with this group for the past 10 years. Brad lives near Orlando, Florida, with his wife Heidi, who has also visited and helped out in Casa Victoria. |
ROBERTO ANDRADE
Roberto was President and Founder of Ecuador Mi Pais 2005-2011– He led the establishment of EMP as a non-profit organization in DC, with over 700 members. Developed the administrative structure for the organization and devised its first electoral process, implemented fundraising initiatives, resulting in scholarships granted between 2008 and 2013 to students in Ecuador. He currently lives in Washington DC with his wife and their two children and continues supporting Casa Victoria and Ecuador Mi Pais. |
BERNARDO DARQUEA Y VANESSA BUSTAMANTE
BERNARDO - Director of Information Systems at Ecuador Mi País from August 2005-2009, Bernardo took part in all decisions of the organization to promote education. Being an expert on information systems, still helps Casa Victoria from time to time with our technology needs. VANESSA - Legal Advisor for Ecuador Mi Pais, 2005-2014, she was in charge of the incorporation of EMP and obtaining the status of a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered in DC. Currently assists Mamalicia on several matters concerning the Foundation, including the administrative, regulatory, fundraising, etc. |
